Objective: Raise awareness and increase fan participation for the release of the new jersey of Alianza Lima, one of Peru’s major soccer teams.
Our solution: Create a contest platform on Facebook that integrates with users’ Twitter accounts, allowing them to compete using retweets to gain the most visibility.
Result: The app was a huge success, trending on Twitter in Peru for five days straight and generating over 100K tweets related to the release of the new jersey. The users that generated the most tweets won a special prize, strengthening the bond between brand, team, and fans.
This project won second place in DIGI 2014: Social Networks.
